Owen's school went on a field trip to the court house following a unit on Aesop Fables. Some students were chosen to play the parts of the characters and others represented the characters as attorneys. Owen played the part of the Tortoise (as in The Tortoise and the Hare). Owen and Isabel made the front page of the local newspaper.
All of the students had a chance to sit in the jury box as well. Here is Owen with his friend Caleb.
